AlMg3 (EN AW-5754)

AlMg3 is the most widely used alloy for stampings in marine environments and wherever seawater resistance is required. Good formability, medium strength and excellent corrosion resistance make this alloy a true all-rounder.

  • Seawater-resistant – ideal for outdoor applications
  • Good cold formability
  • Weldable (MIG/TIG)
  • Material thicknesses: 0.2 – 10 mm
  • Applications: automotive, shipbuilding, façades

AlMgSi (EN AW-6060 / 6082)

The AlMgSi alloys can be age-hardened through heat treatment, achieving significantly higher strengths. They are the first choice for structural components in mechanical engineering and automotive technology.

  • Age-hardenable – high strength after heat treatment
  • Good surface quality
  • Anodisable (eloxal)
  • Material thicknesses: 0.5 – 8 mm
  • Applications: mechanical engineering, automotive technology, construction

Pure Aluminium (EN AW-1050)

Pure aluminium is distinguished by the highest electrical and thermal conductivity. It is particularly soft and forms exceptionally well – ideal for deep-drawn parts and electrical applications.

  • Highest conductivity (62% IACS)
  • Very good formability
  • Corrosion-resistant
  • Material thicknesses: 0.2 – 6 mm
  • Applications: electrical engineering, heat exchangers, reflectors
